Jacob,
We are quite ready to meet you. You are 31 weeks at this time. We actually got to see more pictures of you because your mom has not gained a tremendous amount of weight. She has been eating some really nutritious foods, and it seems that she has lost weight and you have gained it. We were able to see you and determine that you are in the 40 percentile.
Your mom thinks that she feels your elbows, at times. We wait with anticipation to feel you move every day. I am lucky to be in between summer and fall semesters at school, so I have been here to feel the soccer game you sometimes play during the day.
Most amazingly, I think you like ice cream. I mentioned this word to you one day, and you responded with a very pronounced kick. I think you like the real stuff---ice cream---and not the frozen yogurt that your mom has a tendency to like better. We will see when you are old enough to decide for yourself.
Here are the newest pictures. I am amazed how comfy you look. We will keep you just as warm and protected when you are finally ready to come meet us. See you soon!
